Glenn Wiener, Head of Financial and Investor Relations

Glenn Wiener serves as president and chief executive officer of GW Communications, a corporate and financial communications consultancy practice based in New York, NY. Having spent his entire career in corporate communications, Mr. Wiener has serviced both public and private companies, managing corporate, media and financial relations programs. He specializes in corporate relations focused on brand management and has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, initial public offerings, product PR and executive/board management. He has worked on global accounts focused on cross-border communications and has a successful track record of integrating various marketing disciplines focused on increasing and measuring brand reputation.

Prior to the company’s founding, Mr. Wiener was senior vice president and national practice leader of PR21’s investor corporate and financial communications division and co-head of the company’s New York Technology Practice. He also served on the senior leadership committee and had a lead role in shaping new business efforts across the technology, new media, investor relations and consumer practice areas. Before PR21, Mr. Wiener was vice president at Edelman Worldwide, where he specialized in investor and financial media relations for technology, telecommunications, consumer electronics and Internet companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wiener held various positions with Hill & Knowlton, Inc., a worldwide public relations and public affairs agency and Makovsky & Company, a mid-sized public and investor relations firm specializing in the technology, health care and financial services industries.

Mr. Wiener holds a B.A. in Political Science and is a graduate of Boston University.
